How You Can HelpYou can help the Orphans of War Campaign in a myriad of ways.Of course, financial is the fastest since it puts your dollars to work immediately. What makes the Orphans of War Campaign and its American Health Association so unique among 501 (c)-3 charities is "every dollar raised goes to the programs this charity supports". There are no salaries only volunteers throughout each and every program. This separates American Health from the American Red Cross which carries vast structured staff and humongous salaries where only 89% of every dollar raised goes to program content. 100% is better than 89%. Secondly, you can help by becoming an official donor and member of the Orphans of War team. Here you can start a Chapter of the American Volunteer Corps, begin collecting Teddy Bears, dolls, soccer balls, and whatever else your Chapter deems appropriate for Orphans of War. Remember, Orphans of War is not just based only for Iraq. We send the goods collected by the American public wherever and whenever the need. Students can join the American Junior Volunteer Corps, especially for Community Service Credit hours they might need in graduating. Every high school can begin collecting and recycling Teddy Bears, dolls and stuffed animals with our posters we supply denoting this high school an official Teddy Bear Adoption Center where new and used Teddy Bears, dolls and stuffed animals can find a new home, here or abroad.
